A note on what we cannot do
We are a small editorial team, not a design consultancy. We are not able to provide personalised plans for your home, quote on projects, recommend a contractor in your area, or advise on structural, electrical or gas work. For anything of that kind — and for any property built before 1978, where lead paint is a real possibility — please speak to a qualified professional. Our articles are general guidance, as our FAQ explains.
