Advertiser Disclosure

Last updated: August 7, 2026

New Decor Trends is free to read and funded by advertising. This page explains exactly how the site makes money, how you can identify any commercial link, and why our revenue does not shape our editorial decisions.

How This Site Makes Money

1. Display Advertising (Google AdSense)

Our primary source of revenue is display advertising, served through Google AdSense. These ads are placed automatically by Google based on the page you are reading and on your browsing history. We are paid when ads are shown or clicked.

We reserve fixed space for ad units so the page does not shift while it loads, and we keep clear separation between advertising and editorial content. Ad placement has no influence on which topics we cover or what we recommend.

2. Affiliate Links

We may, from time to time, include affiliate links — links that pay us a small commission if you click through and buy something, at no extra cost to you. Where we do, the link is disclosed at the top of the article in which it appears.

We do not currently operate a paid-review or sponsored-post programme. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive mention, a specific ranking, or inclusion in a list.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Any article containing affiliate links carries a disclosure above the article body. If an article carries no such notice, it contains no affiliate links.

Our Editorial Firewall

Topics are chosen by editors based on reader need, never by advertisers. No advertiser sees an article before publication, and no advertiser can request a change to published editorial content. Removing a product from an article is never something that can be bought.

How We Assess Products and Materials

Where we discuss products, finishes or materials, our assessments are based on manufacturer specifications, published safety and performance standards, independent testing where available, and the authority sources described in our Editorial Policy. We are a small editorial team and do not run a physical product-testing laboratory; where a claim comes from a manufacturer rather than an independent test, we say so.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and testimonials, which requires clear disclosure of material connections between a publisher and the products it writes about.
